  1. I found the desert temple secret room the hard way when I was from trying to destroy the temple from rage because of its supposed uselessness.

  2. in my world there is a huge mesa a short journey from spawn. My trouble is that all the colder biomes are so far away and still no sign of a swamp

  3. One thing to note about desert villages.. they'll often have cacti in flower pots in their huts, but sometimes they'll have sea pickles in the pots instead. Also, if you somehow spawn near a jungle temple (I haven't seen on in the jungles of my worlds for a while), they make great little bases once cleaned out.

  4. heh ive seen a jungle temple from 12 chunks away but the Jungle wont let me inside without slowing my computer to a crawl.
My new base is in a desert temple close to a pillager outpost, made a raid farm and while making it i found 3 slime chunks, then i found a skelly spawner at y56, and a spider spwnr at y53, then a witch hut, and lastly i found a tiny 11 chunk flower forest (all within 800 blocks of the temple), its been the best random portal placement i have ever done. The portal appeared ontop of the temple lol

  5. At least on Bedrock, you have to destroy the current treasure chest for the new map to pick another. if the chest is missing youre kinda out of luck

  6. One of my favorite things to do is remake villages especially if they are really broken. Can’t wait to see that project!

  7. Thank you for the reminder that calcite deposits can exist in warmer mountain ranges. I'm going to be needing a fair amount of the stuff for an upcoming build and I was stressing about if I'd be able to find enough geodes lol

  8. I am pretty sure that buried treasure maps are loaded when the chest is opened since there is typically a lag spike when you open those chests. The more lag, the further the treasure is. I learned this as a speedrunning strategy since if there is a lot of lag you might as well not check the map in order to save time.

  9. I did some trial and error way back in 1.5.2 and I found 3 maps of that scale to be the farthest you can see your player marker from. So at most, 6144 blocks from the map.

  10. I was watching a minecraft stream on twitch and someone in the chat said that if you have 2 treasure maps close to each other (that would lead to the same buried treasure) you can break the chest of one and it resets the buried treasure it leads to. I might’ve misunderstood what they were saying but I’m kind of skeptical & wondering if that’s true.

  11. I’m loving this new week of the guide! I actually wouldn’t mind to see in an episode how you link the portals in the Nether

  12. They should really add more magic to Minecraft and make it where players can access said magic plus it would give them a reason to finally update the Witch and the temples because they aren't really that great and could maybe add 1 or 2 more new temples to the game. I and I'm sure many others would really appreciate being able to have access to magic like the Evokers and also just more magic in general.
