  1. there used to be a barrier at the poles but there was a glitch where youd go through the barrier and get stuck. likely why they removed it and just made the poles non minable.

  3. on the way the planets work: it's kinda like a treadmill, you weren't too far off when you called it a piece of paper linked to itself, it's just bent inwards to ensure that the middle circumference is longer than the edge one.
    I'm pretty sure it's to limit load on your machine/on a server. if you have actual working poles, then you'd be able to constantly switch planes which brings extra challenges with it. you'd need to link everything up perfect and need a full spherical object with your player running around on it. while in the treadmill system, the actual pole isn't really a pole, there is nothing beyond the horizon (like on a treadmill, the gap between the bottom and top part.)

    so this treadmill like system is easier to implement and is easier on the system, since it basically just has to spin the world around, and only has 1 line where it needs to link up rather than being a complete circular object.

  4. Kage – I've found the same POI on two different moons and both times it's had rare alien chests in it. I've gotten higher tier weapons and armor, plus a new armor booster, and other goodies. No spoilers, but the POI has guardians (of course!) for these chests. The POI is Submerged Tank.

  5. Typically I find those "damaged" blocks provide some weird form of structural support even when they are in the air. I always take them out first.

  6. Awesome video again Kage! That particular story line has a total of 16 tablets to collect. If I remember correctly you have about 8 of the 16 total. Really enjoying this series, keep up the good work!

  7. That is really stupid but there has always been a band of area that you can't mine or do anything in. I bet that gold is in that band. Obviously it shouldn't spawn there, because what is the point? Yea, I was thinking why did they not just have the "elevator" all the way to the bottom. Why have stairs at all. Apparently these Aliens aren't that bright. Gee, the AI for the Golem is rubbish. He is trying to hit you from 10 feet away. They need some Zombie AI from 7D2D. Look I love this game and yes there are some big improvements. The new ores, the teleporters. However they clearly still have issues with the questing. Doesn't bother me so much as I would rather do my own thing. I hate having to read tons of text, I just want to get on with game play. Something I think ALL developers should keep in mind. The AI needs to improve. It isn't very challenging. The Drones are pretty good, but the Golems and troops pretty much just stand there and get shot. I am afraid these long drawn out story type quest lines don't work in these games. I will guarantee that rarely if ever, dose anyone go through these entire quests. They will go so far and just go off on their own, when they inevitably get bored. You always find something before you are supposed to, or destroy something you later find out you need. They seriously need to dump this. Short quests from traders and / or something that evolves with YOUR game play, would work better.

  8. 23:54 don't read steam forums, that place is most toxic forum on the internet. There is no real moderation on those forums and every single freaking game is just non-stop negative and toxic threads, every single time. It's not worth ever going to steam forums for anything sadly. Better these days to stick to discord and things like that where they have better moderation.

  10. I'm really digging this game now, i played it in past and it was ok but i recently found out how cool end-game is as far as being able to explore a silly number of systems and also the amazing mod that exists "Reforged Eden" which i'll check out once i'm bored of Vanilla.

  11. You don't need to build new ships on each moon, they're all in the same sector, so you can just fly to each of them with your existing ship (no warp drive needed).

  12. INFORMATION.. In the asteroid belt there is a destroyed ship you can claim as your own, with a warp core. 👍

  13. Before teleporting, get a ship ready in the factory, teleport there, and deploy it. Make sure you have enough fuel on you to get around. Or, create mini-outposts head back, then SVs. Expand your empire :p

  14. honestly I found this update to be epic love that it lets you actually do things at your own pace without feeling like your ignoring essential story elements.

  15. Many times you turn to fast around and you missed a couple of cargos and closets with importent cards in them you need for the story

  16. kinda annoys me to see he doesn't use his Radar, it's the best thing and you don't waste all your time on trying to go near all buildings.
    For rest this is a really nice guide for starter players.
    Also all loot is good, t1-t2 weapons will become lot of money at traders so a really nice drop to keep.

  18. I posted this in the last vid but I know you're playing back to back epis, so again, you never even saw that first activator. You dug up everything but it. It's hiding in the top of that mound you left hanging 👍

Finding the Gold Rocks is not unusual, same as the Titanium you found at your start location and in the area of your first quest, the game mechanics now have meteors that crash on planets and moons and they can have rare resources to the planet. The only resources in the description are ores that can you can mine out of the ground.

  20. I installed the game yesterday but it never started properly it always froze up … too bad I always have fun intros game

Zirax have never been bad guys they simply trying to stop the spread of the legacy which means anyone who poses a potential threat to the universe basically they are like extremely strict police in other words they are bad but not because they are evil they are bad because they take things too far so when your killing those zirax grunts your killing good people who have a family that they are trying to protect

  22. Half blocks count as full blocks for holding things up. the damaged block didn't look like it was holding up anything but it was.

  23. so please note i haven't played the game at all lol but a lot of the flavour text indicates an issue with power, which reminds me of the underground POI you explored in episode 3 that had the same material in it's construction although it looked like it wasn't powered originally but it "powered up" after you flicke the switch. (and also mentioned "pro enh Gyn Tihor" aka "activate the knowledge to accend" which has come up again), I figure you might need to find more of the artifact POI's on the other planets (aka moons).
    not sure if it's a proper quest line maybe just lore

  24. the poles are dead zones. you can't dig or build there. i did once, and went after some POI's. when i came back, my base was under ground. the game refilled the soil and rock i dug out for the base.

  25. You can get the station teleporter active without Eva suit. There are multiple spots in the station that are bugged and have 21°C and you can rest there for a few seconds, warm up and go on.

  26. For Skillon POIs, the ones you should be looking for are Debris field(chance of Armor and EVA mods in locker), Submerged Tanks(3 Rare! Alien containers), crashed ships.

  27. My problem with the game is the promethium ores not spawning, I Checked ever single one on skillin dug the entire area and nothing.
